Entry Requirements
- A Level AAA, including Maths
- International Baccalaureate 38 points, including 6 in Higher Level Maths
- Access Courses Access to HE Diploma (QAA recognised) including appropriate subjects with distinction grades in level 3 units, and grade A in A level Mathematics or equivalent.
- Warwick International Foundation Programme (IFP) All students who successfully complete the Warwick IFP and apply to Warwick through UCAS will receive a guaranteed conditional offer for a related undergraduate programme (selected courses only). - General Studies/Critical Thinking Offers normally exclude General Studies and Critical Thinking at A or AS level.
Curriculum
Your first year lays the foundation for a deeper knowledge of Computer Science and your second year will further your understanding of areas such as operating systems and computer networks, computational theory and software engineering. In your third year you will undertake an individual project, where you will apply your learning to an area of your choice under the supervision of world-leading academics.
Throughout the course you can also select from optional modules including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Computer Security. Performing well in your first two years gives you the option of pursuing a Master’s Computer Science degree, which has its own distinctive third and fourth years.
