Curriculum
The HND Fine Art course provides a challenging and stimulating creative environment where individuals can develop their own studio practice as professional artists. The course combines both traditional and contemporary approaches to fine art. You will research and discover the approaches used by practitioners both today and historically, thus informing your own artistic production. You will cover a wide range of processes and techniques in art and design including visual communication, ideas generation and development, contextual and cultural referencing, professional practice, project design, implementation and evaluation. Specialist units range from painting, printmaking, sculpture, drawing and ceramics.
