Entry Requirements

  • Normally a minimum of 200 points which may include: A Level, AS and GCSE qualifications, Foundation Diploma, National Diploma or equivalent qualifications.

Curriculum

  • Students will be able to develop skills in rigging, maintenance, programming, operation of the various technical elements (including lighting, visuals and sound), construction and development of scenic elements and stage props, applying this knowledge to live productions.
  • Second year students focus on the practical application of the creative elements in scenic, lighting and sound design for the theatre.
  • In the final year, there is opportunity for students to explore their career path and develop knowledge of the industry.
