Entry Requirements
Applicants for the PDE must have a minimum level 3 qualification in the subject area and 3-5 years vocational experience in their field.
Applicants for PGDE must have a degree/high level qualification in their chosen subject area. You will need to be able to demonstrate your commitment and reasons for wishing to do this course on your personal statement.
All teacher training placements will require a criminal background check (DBS). Please ensure that our tutors are made aware of any cautions or convictions, as these may stop you gaining employment in these areas. You will have to attend an interview, prepare a presentation, and provide suitable references.
