The Bachelor of Civil Engineering with Honours program provides students with a comprehensive education in the design, construction, and maintenance of essential infrastructure, including buildings, industrial structures, roads, and bridges. Entry Requirements
Any of these:
- STPM: Grade C in Mathematics and 1 relevant Natural Science subject.
- A-Level: Grade D in Mathematics and 1 relevant Natural Science subject.
- UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects, including 1 Mathematics subject and 1 relevant Natural Science subject.
- SAM (South Australian Matriculation): ATAR 70 and Grade B in Mathematics and 1 relevant Natural Science subject.
- CPU (Canadian Pre-University): Average 70% in 2 Mathematics subjects, 1 relevant Natural Science subject, and 3 other subjects.
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma: Minimum 24 points (excluding bonus points) with at least 4 points in 1 Natural Science subject and Mathematics (Applications and Interpretation / Analysis and Approaches).
- Foundation in Science (UTAR): Minimum CGPA 2.00.
- Matriculation / Foundation from other Institutions: Minimum CGPA 2.00.
- Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in a relevant field: Minimum CGPA 2.00.
- Other equivalent qualifications: Recognised by the Malaysian Government.
English Language Requirement:
- Malaysian applicants with STPM / UEC / qualifications not conducted fully in English: Must have Credit in SPM English / Grade C in O-Level English / Grade B in UEC English / MUET Band 3 / IELTS Band 5.0 / TOEFL 40(iBT) / 7.5(Essentials) / PTE 47 / Cambridge English 154/100 (OET) / ELS CIEP Level 107.
Note:
- Applicants without the required credit in English (but with a pass in SPM English / equivalent): Must complete the English Enhancement Programme and pass English Levels 7 & 8 before joining the Bachelor's degree programme.
- A-Level / SAM / CPU applicants or those with entry qualifications conducted fully in English: No additional English requirement, but must have at least a pass in English at SPM level / equivalent.
- International applicants: Minimum IELTS Band 5.0 / MUET Band 3 / TOEFL 40(iBT) / 7.5(Essentials) / PTE 47 / Cambridge English 154/100 (OET) / ELS CIEP Level 107 / equivalent.
