Entry Requirements
- STPM: Grade C in any 2 subjects.
- STAM: Minimum grade of Jayyid.
- A-Level: Grade D in any 2 subjects.
- UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects.
- SAM: ATAR 70 and Grade B in any 2 subjects.
- CPU: Average of 70% in any 6 subjects.
- IB Diploma: Minimum 24 points (excluding bonus points).
- TVET Diplomas (DKM/DVM/DLKM):
- Fully accredited by MQA
- Minimum CGPA 2.50 or CGPA 2.00 + 2 years relevant work experience
- Admission screening + Bridging Programme if required
- Credit transfer considered on a case-by-case basis
- Foundation from UTAR: Minimum CGPA of 2.00
- Matriculation / Foundation (Other Institutions): Minimum CGPA of 2.00
- Diploma (Level 4, MQF): Minimum CGPA of 2.00
- Advanced Diploma (Level 5, MQF): Minimum CGPA of 2.00
- Other Equivalent Qualifications: Recognised by the Malaysian Government.
Portfolio Submission Requirements:
- Portfolio Submission: Required for all applicants, regardless of SPM Art subject.
- Drawings Required: Three drawings demonstrating specific artistic skills.
- File Format: JPEG (each drawing must be scanned or photographed clearly).
- Video Recording: Must record the drawing process for all three drawings.
- Video Content: Applicant’s face and close-ups of the drawing process must be visible.
- Submission Method: Via WeTransfer or Plus Transfer.
- Additional Instructions: Detailed guidelines for drawings and video submission will be provided.
- Exemption: Applicants with Foundation/Matriculation/Diploma in a relevant field or equivalent qualifications may be exempt.
- Interview: The panel may invite applicants for an interview if necessary.
English Language Requirements:
1. Malaysian Applicants:
- STPM / UEC / Other qualifications NOT fully in English: Credit in SPM English / Grade C in O-Level English / Grade B in UEC English / MUET Band 3 / IELTS Band 5.0 / TOEFL 40 (iBT) / TOEFL 7.5 (Essentials) / PTE 47 / Cambridge English 154 / OET 100 / ELS CIEP Level 107.
- A-Level / SAM / CPU or qualifications fully in English: English pass at SPM level / equivalent (No additional English test required).
- Applicants with only a pass in SPM English or equivalent: Must take and pass the English Enhancement Programme (Levels 7 & 8) before joining the Bachelor's programme.
