The Bachelor of Islamic Studies (Sharia) (Honours) program at the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences (FPSS) is the right choice for you if you have a deep interest in the sciences of the Quran and Hadith. Apart from that, we provide various courses from classical fiqh, fiqh-related methodology as well as fiqh applications in Contemporary Fiqh, Halal Management, Islamic Banking and Finance and Sharia Law in Malaysia.
This program equips you for career opportunities in various sectors of management, administration, consultation (consultation), advisory (research), education (education) and other fields related to jurisprudence and Shariah compliance.

Entry Requirements
- Pass STPM with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in 2 subjects and one of them in subjects related to Islamic Studies; or
- Pass STAM overall grade Maqbul; or
- Pass Diploma (Level 4 KKM) in the field of Islamic Studies or equivalent with at least a minimum CGPA of 2.00; or
- Pass the Matriculation / Foundation program from any of the four Huffaz Track foundation programs as follows:
a) Huffaz Track Management Basic Program or;
b) Track Huffaz Information Technology Basic Program or;
c) Basic Science Track Huffaz Program or;
d) Bachelor of Education Foundation Program (Teaching English as a Second Language) Track Huffaz by getting
At least 2.00 or; other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian government 1 credit in any subject.
