The curriculum prepares students to be experts in the field of electrical engineering by combining practical applications with theoretical knowledge. Using the most recent engineering tools, students will build, test, and analyze electrical circuits and systems in addition to learning about basic concepts like electrical circuits, industrial control, instrumentation, renewable energy, power generation, transmission, and distribution.

Entry Level and Requirements
For Local Students

Pass in STPM/Matriculation/Foundation or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA 2.0 and a grade C in Mathematics and one (1) of the Physical Science subjects (i.e.; Physics, Chemistry, etc); OR
-
Pass in International Baccalaureate Diploma (IBD) with a minimum of 24 points and attained a minimum score of 4 in Mathematics and one (1) of the Physical Science subjects (i.e.; Physics, Chemistry, etc); OR
-
Pass in A-Level with a minimum Grade D in Mathematics and one (1) of the Physical Science subjects (i.e.; Physics, Chemistry, etc); OR

Pass in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) with a minimum grade of Jayyid and pass SPM or equivalent with a minimum Grade C in Mathematics and one relevant Physical Science subject (i.e.; Physics, Chemistry, etc); OR

Pass in Diploma (Level 4, KKM) related to Engineering/Engineering Technology fields from a higher education provider recognized by the Government of Malaysia with a minimum CGPA of 2.00
For International Students
- Students must complete 12 years of schooling and obtain a general pass in their High School Certificate,
- A-levels or equivalent with min Grade C (60%) in Mathematics and one of the Science subjects (such as Physics, Chemistry or Biology – depending on the programme)
- IELTS 5.0 or equivalent
