Academic Requirements

• ​Foundation: Minimum CGPA of 2.0
• STPM: Minimum 2 principals (C) (CGPA 2.0) in 2 subjects and pass in Mathematics and English at SPM Level
• ​A-Level: Minimum 2 D's in 2 subjects and pass in Mathematics and English at SPM Level
• ​UEC:Minimum 5 credits (B6), including Mathematics
• ​National Matriculation: Minimum CGPA of 2.0, inclusive of a minimum Credit (C) in Mathematics at SPM
• ​International Baccalaureate (IB): Minimum score of 26 points in 6 subjects and minimum Credit (C) in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/equivalent
• Canadian Pre-U: Minimum average of 60% in 6 subjects, inclusive of minimum 60% score in Mathematics and minimum Credit (C) in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/equivalent
• Diploma/ Advance Diploma/ equivalent: Minimum CGPA 2.0 (inclusive of Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics/Physics)

• AUSMAT/HSC/SACE/TEE/WACE/SAM: Minimum average of 60% in 5 subjects, inclusive of minimum 60% score in Mathematics and minimum Credit (C) in Mathematics at SPM/O-Level/equivalent
• Australian Year 12: Credit (C ) in Mathematics subject
• Other qualifications deemed equivalent to STPM/A-Level by Malaysian Qualifications Agency: Minimum overall average of 60%, inclusive of minimum 60% score in Mathematics
• Diploma programmes (Computing and ICT-related diploma): CGPA 2.5

Note: The terms of credit in Additional Mathematics at SPM level for the candidate with STPM, STAM, Diploma or Matriculation/Foundation qualification can be exempted if the candidate obtained Mathematics and its achievement is equivalent or higher than the required credit of Additional Mathematics at the SPM level.

English Language Requirements

For Local Students:

• MUET: Band 3
• SPM English Language: Grade B+
• SPM English Language 1119/O-Level/IGCSE: Grade C
• UEC English Language: Grade A2

In the event that the English Language Requirements are not met, applicants will be required to take Basic English and English Foundation for in-sessional academic enhancement concurrently with the undergraduate programme.
