Diploma in Computer Science

The Diploma in Computer Science program at LSBF Malaysia provides students with a strong foundation in computing principles and practices, preparing them for diverse careers in the technology sector. The program blends theoretical knowledge with practical skills, covering key areas such as programming, data structures, algorithms, database management, computer networks, software engineering, and web development.

Academic Requirements

1. SPM / O-Levels:

   • Pass SPM with a minimum of THREE (3) credits in any subject, including Mathematics.

2. STPM / A-Levels:

   • Pass STPM with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.00) in any subject, AND a credit in Mathematics at SPM level.

3. STAM:

   • Pass STAM with a minimum grade of Maqbul (Pass), AND a credit in Mathematics at SPM level.

4. Certificate:

   • A Certificate (Level 3, MQF) in the relevant field with at least a CGPA of 2.00.

5. SKM:

   • Pass SKM Level 3, MQF in the relevant fields.

Note:

• Higher Education Providers (HEPs) must conduct screening and provide appropriate bridging courses in Mathematics for candidates who do not meet the Mathematics requirement.

6. Others:

   • Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by the Malaysian Government.

Language Requirements for International Students

• IELTS: Minimum score of 5.0.

• TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 40.

• Pearson (PTE): Minimum score of 47.

• MUET: Minimum of Band 3.5.
