About
The Nursing degree is a 4-year full-time programme which prepares a student to become a registered nurse, qualified to practise in a variety of settings in either the public or private healthcare sectors.
Students are provided with opportunities to learn a whole range of nursing skills in addition to acquiring knowledge related to nursing practice. To that end, IMU has an integrated Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre (CSSC) which simulates clinical environment ward setting. Here, students can obtain the requisite nursing skills before their clinical postings. In addition, students gain clinical experience through attachments at public and private hospitals and postings in community health centres.
Students are supervised and guided by nurse educators from IMU and health practitioners from the public and private sectors.
