About
The Diploma in Nursing is a three-year programme offered by the International Medical College (IMC), designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become competent Registered Nurses. This comprehensive curriculum incorporates simulated practice, fieldwork, team-based learning, and clinical skills development to ensure graduates are well-prepared for the healthcare industry.
Students enrolled in IMC’s Diploma in Nursing programme will gain hands-on clinical experience at hospitals under the Pantai – Gleneagles Group, as well as other approved government hospitals and healthcare centers. Additionally, several hospitals in Malaysia and Singapore, including IHH Healthcare Malaysia & Singapore Hospitals, provide full sponsorship and employment opportunities for IMC nursing graduates, offering a clear career pathway upon completion of the programme.

Entry Requirements
Candidate must:
– Be Malaysian citizen.
– Possess excellent academic records at SPM, STPM (are encouraged to apply, but the SPM result must meet the academic entry requirement) with credits in Mathematics, Science, Bahasa Malaysia and any other 2 subjects. Pass in English.
– Be certified physically and mentally fit by a medical practitioner.
The selection criteria of candidates for the sponsorships will be based on academic merit, financial need and socio-economic background as well as excellence in extracurricular activities. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the respective sponsors.
All IMC students are required to have a good command of English. In addition, IMC students are expected to be fluent in Bahasa Malaysia because they have to function effectively as students, and later nurses.
