   • Aggregate or average of 80% in 3 subjects:

5. National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3 / New Zealand Bursary:

6. CPU / CIMP / Canadian Grade 12/13 / Ontario Secondary School Diploma Grade 12:

8. International Baccalaureate (IB):

Diploma Level:

• Diploma in Health Sciences (course ≥ 5 semesters or 2 1/2 years in the same accredited institution):

  • CGPA ≥ 3.5 (out of 4).

Degree Level:

1. Degree in Medical Sciences:

   • 5-year undergraduate programme: CGPA 3.3 (out of 4).

   • 4-year undergraduate programme: CGPA 3.5 (out of 4).

2. Degree in the Arts or Humanities:

   • 5-year undergraduate dental programme: CGPA ≥ 3.5 (out of 4).

   • 4-year undergraduate programme: CGPA 4.0 (out of 4).

   • AND 3 Cs each in:

     • Biology

     • Chemistry

     • Physics

     • General Science

     • Mathematics or Additional Mathematics at SPM or its equivalent.

   • OR an accredited bridging course.

Additional Notes:

1. Aptitude Test / Interview / Entrance Examination:

   • Applicants may be required to pass an aptitude test, interview, or university entrance examination.

2. Public Sector Employment (Malaysian Citizens):

   • Must fulfil the criteria set by the Public Services Commission of Malaysia (SPA).

3. Disqualification from Dental Programme:

   • Applicants with the following shall be disqualified:

     • Found guilty of offence(s) affecting the human body.

     • Recent or serious dishonesty (e.g., cheating at examinations, falsification of documents, plagiarism).

     • Serious physical or mental disorder.

     • Serious communicable disease(s).

Health Entry Requirements:

• Medical Checkup:

  • All short-listed applicants must undergo a medical checkup to ensure they are free from communicable diseases (e.g., HIV, Hepatitis).

• Immunisation:

  • Must undergo immunisation against Hepatitis B.
