The program has been accredited by prominent international professional associations and is pertinent to the industry. Core accounting disciplines, data analysis, and accounting and finance law are the main focus of the program, which aims to build students' theoretical knowledge, practical abilities, and managerial strategies for a future in accounting or more general business fields.
Liverpool John Moores University's Accounting and Finance degree gives students the opportunity to obtain professional accreditation from the four major accounting associations in England and Wales. Within six months of graduating, more than 95% of students were employed or pursuing more education, according to the DLHE Survey. In addition to accounting, graduates have found lucrative jobs in investment banks, banking, and other financial industries.
This accounting degree program is suitable for accountants who wish to pursue further education at the degree level after earning a certificate in an accounting-related course. After graduation, students who choose to pursue a career in accounting are urged to get professional certifications such as the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and nine paper exemptions.
The Malaysian Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, or MAICSA, has also approved this curriculum for students who want to work as chartered accountants, company secretaries, or governance professionals.

Entry Requirements
Any of These:
- SPM: Credit in Mathematics and pass English at SPM level.
- Foundation: Pass Foundation in Business from YPC International College with minimum CGPA 2.50.
- STAM: Pass STAM with minimum grade of Jayyid and credit in Mathematics and pass English at SPM level.
- UEC: Pass UEC with a minimum of 5 subjects in Grade B and pass Mathematics.
- A-Level: Pass A-Level with a minimum of 2 passes (any subjects).
- Diploma: Pass Diploma in Accountancy from YPC International College OR Pass Diploma with minimum CGPA of 2.50 and recognized by Malaysian Government.
- Matriculation: Pass Matriculation with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 from a recognized institution.
- STPM: Pass STPM with minimum grade C+ (GPA 2.33) in any 2 subjects (minimum CGPA 2.00).
