About
Advertising is a form of marketing communication with the aim to sell a product or service for a profit by stimulating the market’s demand for it. Advertising may communicate with the mass market or targeted audience through the use of different media outlets, communication tools or new technologies. Advertising is evolving from a one-way form of marketing communication to one that is highly interactive and personal through the use of new and developing technologies. Such technologies results a higher level of cost efficiency and effectiveness.
The Bachelor of Communication (Hons) Advertising will nurture students into a well-rounded professional in the field of advertising. Students will learn to apply the conceptual and practical aspects of advertising, make use of available communication tools and new technologies as well as being well versed in the process of advertising from conceptualizing and visualizing to planning, designing, copywriting, programming, communicating etc. Well-rounded advertising professionals are sought after by all sectors of commerce and industry.

- STPM with minimum 2 Principal Passes in the relevant subjects

- South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with a Tertiary Entrance Rank of 70 and Grade B in 2 of the relevant subjects
