Diploma in Environmental Health

The three-year Diploma in Environmental Health program at MAHSA University is designed for students who have earned their SPM or its equivalent. This course was designed for people who are interested in environmental and health issues. The significance of stopping the spread of infectious diseases caused by physical, biological, cultural, and socioenvironmental factors will be taught to the students. The importance of proper cleanliness, preventative measures, and corrective action will also be covered.

The fascinating Diploma in Environmental Health program offered by MAHSA examines how human activity impacts people's quality of life. Students gain the ability to establish their own conclusions and solutions to contemporary environmental issues by making scientific observations supported by empirical data and logical reasoning.
After completing the course, students will have a basic understanding of the relevant sciences and their auxiliary services, including norms of practice and ethics, legal requirements and barriers, and pertinent communication skills.

• SPM or equivalent with PASS in Bahasa Melayu and English and 5 credits in the following subjects:

  • Mathematics

  • ONE science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science); and

  • Any other THREE subjects (including Bahasa Malaysia and/or English if credits)

  *Having SPM referring to pass SPM with at least pass in Bahasa Melayu and History*

• Pass GCE O-Level or equivalent with PASS in Bahasa Melayu or English and 5 Grade C in the following subjects:

  • Mathematics

  • ONE science subject (Biology/Physics/Chemistry/General Science/Applied Science); and

  • Any other THREE subjects (including Bahasa Melayu and/or English if obtained Grade C)

• Certificate (Level 3 MQF) in the field of Health Science with minimum CGPA of 2.75

• Other recognized qualification of equivalence
