Mechanical engineering encompasses tasks related to all types of motion, including the movement of the human body.
Mechanical engineers study materials, statics and dynamics, solid and fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, control engineering, industrial engineering, instrumentation and design. It also includes the creation and production of a wide range of items, from small components to massive structures like airplanes and spacecraft.
Mechanical engineering is possibly the most extensive and varied field of engineering because it demands the acquisition of skills for creating anything.
